Welcome To Mpelembe Secondary School - Our Goals, Ideals, Policies and Regulations
This information is being presented to the parents and students of Mpelembe Secondary School in order that they become acquainted with the school, its goals, ideals, policies and regulations. It is the sincere wish of the School Administration that parents and students become familiar with the ideals of Catholic education and thus co-operate more closely with the teaching and support staff. In order for Management to run the school effectively, this cooperation is necessary. Only when the home and the school are linked together will progress be manifested.
We at Mpelembe Secondary School consider it a privilege to work with parents in the education of children, because we understand that as your children’s primary educators, you have decided to share that responsibility with us. It is your right and duty to become the primary role models for the development of your children’s lives – physical, spiritual, emotional, moral and psychological. Your choice of Mpelembe Secondary School, a Catholic school, involves a commitment to helping your children recognize God as the greatest good in their lives.
Mpelembe Secondary School continues to be a beautiful, harmonious and conducive place for learning anchored on the core values of academic excellence, prayer, integrity, respect, justice, co-operation, freedom, love, truth, responsibility, care and child protection. These are the values which the school, through its core curriculum and co-curricular activities has tried its best to inculcate in the pupil population. It is our fervent hope and prayer that all pupils from Mpelembe that join the wider global family, will radiate these values and continue being a source of credit and pride to Mpelembe, which has played a big role in their formation.
The close collaboration of the Board of Governors, the PTA and the School Management with guidance on policy and direction from the Zambia Conference of Catholic Bishops (ZCCB), who are the owners of the school, continues to be instrumental in the achievement of the school’s short term and long term goals.
May this bring a deeper understanding of our purpose and may the spirit of goodwill and co-operation, which is part of Mpelembe Secondary School, continue to bring God’s blessing on all. Together let us pray that God, who has begun this good work with us, may carry it through to completion.
